hey guys,
Well I got the head off of my 84 na, and this is what I found. I knw the photos are a little hard to see, but I have circled the areas I am concerned with. Yess all but one valve is toast.
Can you guys tell me what you think?. All of them in person do not look too bad to me, and they are all 4 the same in terms of damage.
See for your self and please let me know:

They should be just fine.
The reason that they are ok is that the pistons hit each valve only once, the valve gives up and bends out of the way, and the pistons can't hit them again... At least, that's the way that most of them get bent...

I could just kiss you!!!
except you are in New Your, and I am a man , and straight, and come to think of it...forget the whole kiss thing ok?
Thanks man that is truly good news. Now lets see how long it takes for some one to post here and say, "you need to replace all four..."

Looks like Autohausaz has the cheapest parts. May go with 944 online and get a rebuilt one.
Any suggestions. Was thinking of having it done at a local machine shop, or the other option buying one rebuilt already.
Not sure if a shop would be cost effective as I am looking at about 380.00 plus the shop bill.
944 online has it but it is like 495 plus shipping and the 380.00 includes the gasket kit for 93.00.
Help me please?
