NO DEV- 2 different issues.. LOL
Being a Win mechanic as well- I'm all to farmiliar with DOS tools for NTFS. I have a drive thats healtht- but the directory (Master file record) is screwed.
I figger if I cant fix it noone can. Been doing this since 1977... The HDD is toast.
Easy to reformat- the HDD is OK but bad sectors have doomed my data.
MBR is now unavailable....
I'm really pissed. My backup was on the same partition.. sheesh.
I can call myself stupid now. I didnt have a tertiary backup.
we should all learn from this.

That said, I am really sorry that she is pissed..
...but there seems to be a bit of misunderstanding......By definition, one would have had to have taught others in the ways of the Jello to earn the name of "sensei." I don't recall addressing my karate teacher as "sensei" just because he "came up with the term first".....
.....and I have taught some lessons to a few "grasshoppers" recently.......
Or maybe one might have even made a few Jello shots themselves? The only ones I have tasted (or have even HEARD about) at our gatherings in the last few years had a very familiar name attached to them......
