Any chance of a group buy on the tank? I'm sure 99% of the people on this board are tired of looking at their yellow 18 year old tanks on their cars.

If the price were 80-100 dollars I would pay it, but 140 is too much money to spend on something that is only cosmetic.

People who don't want to spend $137 on preventative maintanence should not own a Porsche. If it cracks while you are out driving, you are going to be SOL. If there are cracks there already, you are gambling everytime you go out for a drive.

Now, if it is just brown and looks like buttox, I can understand not wanting to spend the money. But cracks? Replace it right away.

For my own part, it's not that I don't want to spend $140+ on preventative maintanence, it's that I don't want to spend $140 when I can spend $100 or less. Furthermore it really doesn't matter if it's a Porsche or a Suzuki, of the $$ needs to be spent it needs to be spent, it's all part of ownership ( and the law in my state). Nothing makes a Porsche any more special in this area.

I'm in for a turbo tank, depending on price.

I tried to swap my spare in last night, and discovered, after I'd removed the old one, that the new one was for an NA At least I was able to spray some rust converter on the rubbed spots on the fender.

Anyone want an ugly (but uncracked) NA tank ? I know this isn't going to help the group buy

Tifo, nice art. How about a 944/951 running a meat grinder with your buldging wallet in it and all the little dollar sign "souls" are floating off to heaven?

BTW, I'm in for the right price on a turbo tank.

I'll get to work on that.
