Cool Cannon Ball Run

Here are some pics from our trip across the country, from Ohio to Utah. Two 951's and a ML320, we seem to draw a lot of attention from the locals. No major problems except a flat tire due to debris in the road, yeah, try to find a Perilli P-Zero Rossa in a 225/45 R17, in the middle of South Dakota. We will be starting the trip back soon so look for us to be traveling through your town soon.

Love the smokie and the bandit CB whips you two have on your 951's. :-)

Artie, who does the gold car belong to? Is he local? We still need to get together to compare cars.

That canyon shot looks likes its in the Needles at Custer State Park. If it is, that is a great drive if you're not stuck behind a line of tourists going 15 MPH.

We left columbus and headed out to west liberty Iowa, then to souix falls, SD. From there we went to rapid city and spent 2 nights doing the black hills, that cave picture is in fact in the Needles at Custer, we have about 100 pictures just from that section. It was actually wide open, we didnt run into the tourists like I had suspected.

Brian- I will work on gathering a few high res shots of the cars, there are some really awesome picts, I just need to sort them out. Let me work on that today, thanks for offering to post them!

Kevin- the gold car belongs to a friend of mine, he just bought it about 2 weeks ago, and he is local. We need tol work on a time to get together, campare cars, and hang out. I'd love to do it! More updates to come....

Brian, I just sent some high res pics to your hotmail email, host whichever you want.

In one of the pictures there is a new Boxster S that we met up with on I-90 in South Dakota. There was no traffic whatsoever, and when we moved to the left lane to pass, the Boxster just hung in with us. We ended up driving the rest of the way through Wyoming with her. It was a couple, she was driving, when they went by us the snapped some photos, and gave a thumbs up. I think they were a little suprised at how little their new boxster got in my mirror when I stood on the gas It was really cool to run into another Porsche in the middle of no where.

Sounds like your having a good time. Shoot me a pm when you get back and we'll get together. I want to compare our to4b's to see if mine feels right. It made 320 on the dyno, but still doesn't seem right.
