Default What do YOU plan on doing to your car?

Well, I have been sitting on it, but I think I know what is going to be done over the course of the next year...so, basically, outside of normal maintanence, what are you going to do to your car over the next year??

Me:
Engine: It's almost where I want it, just delete the venturi, fix the headers, powdercoat the normal stuff..
Manual Boost Controller
Blowoff Valve
Then my engine bay is good enough for me

suspension: Strut Mounts
Strut bar
Koni adjustable

body:
AIR Splitter
AIR euro-front bumper
euro rear bumper
968 mirror, handles
GT Racing rockers
Vented hood
rims (not sure which ones yet)
968 Hatch

Thats all that i am willing to say...there are a couple "secret" suprise mods that will be indulged upon when they are nearing completion...one of which I hve already started on...so...

What are YOU doing to your car this year?

Umm.. well.. i am doubting my car will see the road until spring, but I have been doing a full interior swap, engine rebuild/swap from the parts car, etc. etc. etc.

Put the top end back together with all new gaskets/nuts/bolts. Finish dressing the cam tower and other bits with red paint. Fix the crack in the GT splitter and remount it. Little odds and ends as well.

Hopefully if I get enough funds this year
-968 tranny with lsd
-spec clutch
-lindsey fuel rail
-lindsey 4" exhaust
I probably wont have enough money for all of these but most likely the exhaust and fuel rail

Vented hood? Like the CGT LeMans hood?

So far my list contains:
AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Door lock fix (passenger only locks from key)
Rear sway bar upgrade
New Battery
IceShark Battery Cable kit
New Air filter (drop in)
ClearMask (maybe...)
Some other odds and ends for preventative maintenance sake

So nothing too performance oriented for the rest of the year. Im just doing stuff to keep it fresh overall. I eventually want to paint the cam cover and upgrade my brakes. I think next year i will begin those.

yeah, like the CGT hood...i know i don't have a need for it, but dammit, I like it....figured my engine is going to be where i want it to be at after a couple more mods...it will be fast enough fo rnow....the hood looks nice though! BTW - where did you get your hatch at? Or is that the stock type for an S2?

Eventually, it'll need new rear shocks. Beyond that, I'm not spending any money unnecessarily on it until things get squared away.

Drop the entire drivetrain.
Drop the suspension.
Paint inside and out.
Minor engine rebuild (hopefully).
Install 80% lock-up Guard LSD
Install all new suspension.
Reinstall drivetrain.
Install new windshield.
Wire it up.
Race it. (finally)
