Default S2 Looking for Tach signal on DME where?

I am puting in a the Inovate wide band o/2 sensor and adding the optional tach meter so i can see what is hapening at specific rpm level. As a result I have to tie into a tach signal. I would assume that the one coming out of the DME would be easiest but I do not know which one it is .

Wes, i can't remember, does the S2 wiring harness have that flat plug that has about 8 pins or so, in addition to the main DME connector? If so, the tach signal should be the green/black wire on that connector (might just be a solid green on the S2).

+1 add another one, assuming that the placement for a 968 is the same, wanting to hookup a traqmate.

I believe that it is Pin #2 on the 14 pin plug in the passenger footwell.

it is pin 2 on that 14 pin. Now I'm trying to find where it goes from the tach in the old car. I think some one was smokin a fattie while they did the wiring on this thing.
somewhere between the dash and the connector by the brake booster the signal gets lost.
This car pulls revs waay to fast to not have a tach.

Karl- going to hallett?

I'm on the fence, but need to make a decision quick. I may drive down there early tomorrow morning. When are you guys headed down?

I'm not sure if I'm going. Mac is leaving in a few hours. This car is gonna be awesome. I really want the tach done so he can take it instead of one of our spec cars.
