The TPS is a simple thing that seems to cause a lot of problems. Operation is explained here:

Has anyone mucked with the idle stop on the carb..er..throttle body?

Just kidding Mavfan.. no harm intended, just poking a little fun.
Vacuum lines were completely redone about 300 miles ago.. I'll check to see if one may have worked loose.. Thanks.

To replace the TPS on the S2, you can either avoid TB removal by using a stubby screwdriver to access the TPS bolts, or remove the TB. On the S2, the allen head bolts are actually more accessible, only once I had them out the TB wouldn't come off until I gave it a good whack and it finally came loose.

I usually just use a 1/4" rachet, 10" long extension, and a socket allen. I had to take it off the 951 3 times one morning. I heard S2's were the hard ones. I don't have the airbox on the 951, that helps a lot right there.
