I got done changing my drivers side headlamp as it had burned out, the job was very easy but I didn't expect to find Hella H4's already installed! They looked older and really didn't seem all that bright to me, and how old I have no clue. I put in a Wagner Halogen bulb in that I got from Checkers, but if those old Hella's are going to be a lot brighter or better, i'd like to stick with that. I guess the real test will be driving at night. What do you guys think? Pics attached below

It's all about the light pattern. The H4's will give you a significantly wider pattern, with a very sharp cut off on the top.
All halogen bulbs get dimmer with age. If you popped a new bulb into the Hella, you'd likely see the same brightness as the Wagner bulb.
Personally, I like the Hella's way better than the seald beam halogens.
