Default Lowering springs on Ebay (SP200)

I just put a set of Weltmeister lowering springs on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMESE%3AIT). These were on my 924S for about 1 year and were used for approximately 12 DE's and basically no street use. They are in excellent condition.

I also have a set of Koni Sport stut inserts (1038S) that will go up in a day or two. Same story, one year of use on the track.

I'm looking at your inserts, and it looks like they are machined down at the end - below the threaded section.

Mine have that too - do you know what the deal is ? Would you mind sending me a closer pic of the top of the strut ?
