After reading the banter between y'all about who makes a better jello shot, it seems only logical that we add that as a featured event at Renntreffen. I'm buying a trophy to be presented to the "winner" for the following:

Sorta like the County Fair Apple Pie contest, entrants whip up their best homespun, secret, passed down for generations recipe/concoction, and we'll do some judging and award a trophy to the "best". I'm thinking everyone wins, except for maybe the hotel staff that has to clean up after us. lol Judging criteria will be determined shortly and will be posted here or at the KCWS website. ABSOLUTELY NO DRIVING WILL BE TOLERATED AFTER THE "JUDGING BEGINS.

My apologies for the low technical content, but since I am suggesting this be a part fo Renntreffen, I felt it appropriate to post it here. PM me if you feel otherwise.

Not only will there be a trophy for the winner to take home, but I am planning on making this an annual contest, so the winners name will go on a plaque that will be held by the KCWS and displayed at future events. I am also thinking a bottle of Cabo Wabo or a gift certificate will be included for the winner. We've already got two $50 Sears Craftsman gift certificates lined up as door prizes, is there a Craftsman equivilent for liquor? lol

Well Scott, I just talked to my jello shot/martini partner in crime mary (I think you met her at the Fest) and she is DEFINITELY up for the contest

Livers are considered a consumable item. Remove and replace as required.

Damian, that's brilliant!! Alas, we here at renn need some technical merits to dispute, ie "Is the luge of sufficient legnth to allow maximum thermal transferance" or, "What is it's turning radius", etc etc.
