HELP! Serious Vibrations

If you've eliminated the rear hub bearings (raise the car in the rear and try to move the rear wheels back and forth checking for play), and everything appears to be tight in regards to CV's......then drain your trans fluid and check for metal bits (worst scenario). I would have said it was the clutch, but since you said it is speed only related and it shifts fine, I don't think that is it.

Checked front tires this evening before the rain and found no play in the tires, however, there is metal to metal sound when spinning tire. Like the break is draging. Would that cause a vibration when driving?

it certainly could, if a caliper is hanging up you can get a bad vibration. Try prying the pads away from the rotor and then, without using the brakes, go for a short drive and see if the vibration is still there. Make sure the parking brake is not sticking also. You could also go for a drive and when you get back check the temp of the brakes, if one caliper is hanging up and causing your vibration it will be significantly hotter than the rest. Do not actually touch the brakes, if you have one that is dragging enough to cause a vibration it will be hot enough to take the skin off your hand.
