hmm what about one way mirror tint, I am thinking of getting that since the cars from the dealership's her come with like 5% ( my dads truck has it on back on sides) to hind my stereo but I wonder how mirror windows would look on a guards red 44'. I seen it on a black 300C with at least 19" rims looked sweet.

Will i see you August 7th at Nassau Collesium? Cant wait to get back out there!
Jon,

Will definately be there on the 7th. Haven't missed one since the school and have been doing pretty well. As far as the tint I brought my '84 to a place to tint. They were going to do it for about $150. Worked on it for about an hour and gave up. They said there is no way they can to do the rear. Gave the reason the glass is too old. Haven't tried to tint the new one yet.

Jeff, no smoke the 3M products are warranted for life. I have never had to replace it however and I have had probably 100+ cars tinted since I used to have it done for customers.

I believe that the limit in Alabama is somewhere around 35% I just remember some of my friends talking about how the 20% they had just put on their cars wasn't legal. I plan to do 20% on the sides and maybe the rear if I can find someone to do it. If I get pulled over I'll just roll down the windows before the officer approaches so it won't be noticable.

The hell he does! I'm seriously considering mounting a video camera in my next car so I can record everything when I get pulled over...

Me and my friend always keep a digital camera in the car when we go places, and when we get pulled over we put it on video mode and it records everything. We've got some pretty funny stuff on there, including the last time we got pulled over for making noises out the window and then the cop found the camera and looked at all the pictures of us being stupid and pictures of **** on there. It was hilarious to see them looking through the pictures while rolling their eyes and shaking their heads. It's just too bad we didn't have it when one cop told us "if I wasn't on duty, i'd pull you out of your car and beat the **** out of you", that would have been a goldmine.

I got 50% 3M tint on my MB E420. I'm thinking of doing the same to the 951, probably only on the side windows though.
