Vacationing in the rockies here in ski country (Vail, Edwards, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge,.....there are Porsches everywhere...lots of Boxsters, 911's and at least 5 944/951's in the past 2 days......looked like a dark blue or plum colored 944 on Rt 9 coming from Breckenridge this morning (Sunday)...anyone here???
Heading back to SW Pa Tuesday.....I llllllllllove Colorado.....

 

I never see 944s when I'm on vacation...I think I've seen one, ever. I also rarely see them when I'm in my car too. One night comes to mind where I saw 5 944s through the night but wasn't in mine at the time...

 

I saw 2 yesterday here in Evansville.

 

I didn't see any 944's but on my way back from Cleveland sat I did see a white 928cab and a few 996's.

 

We passed a 924 that was on a trailer at a rest stop on the cruise of 944fest '04. I'm sure it was pretty weird having 50 944s going by honking like mad-men.

I also just got a wave from a guards 968!

 

One good thing about living in the Oklahoma outback, I have the only 944 in town. And I think there is only two other Porshces in town. I've seen a 911. Don't remember what the other one was. I get alot of "What the hell is that?" looks.

 

I haven't been up to the mountains recently, so you didn't see mine. But yeah, there are a lot of Porsches here in CO. I saw a Carerra GT a few weeks ago here in Fort Collins! That was hot!

You mentioned that you saw a 928cab. Was that a typo or is there such a car out there?

Yes, a White 928Cab with a brown top, looked identical to Randy V's old one. This was sat the 23rd going east on I-80 (ohio turnpike).

haha i don't get why its so un-beleiveable. No this wasn't at the fest! This was 1wk after the fest.

I have seen 6 924's and one boxster, as long as I can remember I have never seen any other 944 other than mine in my life. ( I bought the first one I found)

 

I have seen more 944's in Denver then any other type P-Car.
