F/S - 1983 944 Project - $1500 OBO in PA
1983 944, manual transmission, manual steering, limited slip rear, no rust or dents. The motor is not installed, the original has a scored #4 cylinder. I have enough parts to build a new motor.
New - hood and hatch shocks, and a CV boot kit (not installed)
Extra - I have a '87 block, '85 crank and piston assemblies, two cylinder heads, the complete original '83 motor (scored #4 cylinder) and many other small parts.

The child is not included. I have a clear PA title. I was thinking around $1500 for everything? Comments or suggestions welcome...

Come and get it! Yeah, its not a bad car, especially if someone has a good motor to swap in.
I just don't have the time and I am rapidly losing interest, and I don't want the car to suffer.

The original motor has been removed completely. The motor did not run when I purchased the car. I thought it would be a simple fix, but turned out to be a scored cylinder. I think it would not start because the intake charge was being redirected back through the AFM from the cylinder blow by. I had it running once, sounded okay, but could not get it started again. I went through the checklist and could not find anything else wrong.
I removed the motor as outlined in Clark's Garage, nothing was butchered. I have all hardware organized in bags, this should be a fairly easy project.

Opportunities like this make me wish I had somewhere I could work on something like this.
Appartment living doesn't give me much space.
Having said that I might be interested in a few of the parts (cylinder head especially), if it doesn't go with the car.

Please note - I will not part this car out, it is in too good of shape.
The car is first come (with cash and trailer ), first serve.
Thanks!

Make me a decent offer...I have a little more than $1500 into it (including original price) and I am not looking to make money, just clear up my garage and free up some cash.

Oh, this is tempting. But it's opposite of what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a track car that has cosmetic wounds but a strong engine. Yours is really too nice to be turned into a track car. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

You need to get together and figure out something with "Race" it would leave him a few $'s for things he needs done.
