No, it isnt way low. It is just fine. As Joe correctly states the car in stock form will tend to understeer a bit. This is a desirable condition for 99% of drivers 99% of the time. The problem I have with some of the responses is that they are coming from the 1%ers. Joe is a racer and he probably likes a little more oversteer, someone else recommended autoX psi (42 is very high for that BTW), etc.

The original poster has already changed the characteristics of the car by changing the tire size. You have no idea how the car handles in this modified state. What if the setup he has now already tends towards oversteer? Then you (generic) recommend that he inflate to an even more likely to oversteer setup. Have you really helped him?

There is NOTHING wrong with running the stock air pressure. Again, start with the stock 29/36, if you dont like the way the car handles, come back, let us know what you dont like and we can make recommendations. Until then, no one can give you a "right" answer (BTW, there is no right answer).
