Default Small Vacuum line ....size?

Could someone tell me what size of hose is needed to replace the small vacuum hoses on our cars?

OD/ID?

TIA!

If you are talking about repalcing the hard black tubes I used 5/32" heavy wall vac line with 3/16" barbs. I pulled all that hard tubing out so I'm sure on the OD.

Sorry I typed tubing I mean't hose.
No the rubber ones that connect to those hard tubes. Elbows to the FPR etc. Thanks!

I'd love it, but they already have Chuck Earhardt - the guy who LITERALLY wrote the book on evidence!

And the Gator thing was made by Testy for me when I complained about his "bias." I can't help it if others appreciate a good avatar

The 5/32" vac line fit all of the barbs(FPR, FD, banjo bolt, etc) but is too big for that hard black tubing. My tubing was so brittle it just crumbled in my hand. I think the OE size can't be any more than 1/8" ID if you don't go metric for a replacement hose.

Michelle-The turbos really suffer due to the heat; the tubing on my 83 is still doing fine so far. Now get back out there and finish that car...good luck on the break-in period, treat it kind though I know the temptation will drive you crazy to push it at some point. I put so few miles on my car I hate to think of doing a rebuild some day...I haven't even hit the 1500 mile belt retension point yet after 8 weeks! Sad huh? Have a good time at the Fest, wish we had a similar event out here.

It's really kind of funny.....
I bought the Lindsey vaccuum kit and wound up doing the venturi delete and cycling valve delete. I also have an EBC. In the end, I used less than half of the Lindsey tubing and NONE of the tees!
