Default Where the heck is the motor?

Hello Boys!
Well, I just had my Bachelorette party last night and I am still trying to recover from it. Does this mean my life is over? Anyways, Olive (my 924 is black, get it) is doing AWESOME! We are auto-xing her in a few weeks and have some DE days lined up for her in August when we get back from our honeymoon. Enough about that though, my problem is this. My sunroof motor won't shut off! My Fiance was playing with the roof one day and I don't know what he did but it won't shut off now. I pulled the fuse and shut it up, but now I have no fan blower. having no fan blower isn't any fun in the rain let me tell you. So how do I find the motor since I won't let my Fiance touch the car? I just am going to take it out since I want to make the car weight less for track . How do I get to it? Is it hard to take out? Help me my boys of Rennlist! Have a fanTABulous day everyone!!!!!! Hugs - Jaime

It could be the sensor, the middle triangle shaped piece. I'd wiggle that around and see if it helps.

The motor is in the left wheel well in the hatch.

Trevor,
Your my new best friend! How do I get to it? Do I take the wheel off, or do I have to dig threw the interior? Thanks so much and I am sorry to bother you. - Jaime

I was thinking someone didn't realize it was a porsche with the engine in the front too lol.

You have to take teh left rear rug that buttons along the side, and the motor is under there. Not sure which bolts tot ake out, but you shoudl be ablet o figure it out. You can at least unplug it there I beleive.. or pull all it's relays that are back there.

It's not too hard to take out although getting the cable out was a bit of a PITA. You'll have to remove the trim in the LR corner of the interior to get at it. I may have some photos of mine with the motor still in place. Not positive though
