Got it. Then I recommend the liberal use of Kroil. That stuff works wonders on stuck fasteners.

Sorted. Kroil and PB Blaster don't seem to be readily available in the UK, but I used "Arctic Products Crack-it Shock Release Spray", which seemed to do the trick - or maybe I just applied more leverage !
