What weight oil are you running?
Well I got a 78 924 and im running SAE 30 which is what was called for in the Hanes Manual, and im gettting realy low oil preasure. The previous owner was running 10w 40 i dont know who to trust HELP! oh one more thing to consider i live in TEXAS. Any one have any suggestions on how to fix the problem before it becomes a bigger one? And what weights are others running?

I have 10W30...too low
From waht I have searched on the List...20W50 is better!
My oil pressure is RIDICOUSLY low once the car warms up, and switching to 20W50 will hopefully help. I'll let you know tommorow if it helped me..then maybe it could help you

my bigest fear with switching to a heavier weight is that it wont get in to some of the realy tight places. and i hope you get your problem worked out . ill have to do some more searching later.
