Cool Hershey Parade Reviews

Haven't seen any mentions of this past weekend in Hershey, PA. For those of you who didn't attend, you missed an incredible display of rare automobiles! The Porsche family was also in attendence for the unveiling of the new 911 Club Sport. Ultra-rare racers: 917/30, 904, 935, 959, Spyders,Carrera GT's and the usual suspects- 911, 944,951, 968,356, etc. Beautiful weather, good food, and nice people were the order of the day. Any other attendees? I'd like to hear about your experience.

9five1 and I went up there on Sat, I had to work on Sunday. Saw in OT that we coulda seen the setup by the hotel but we missed that

Oh well. The swap was really a let down. I didn't get anything for the 944. Had a blast driving the new ride though. Eric was able to pick up a few things he needed though so that turned out OK.

There is another thread in the OT forum and one loaded with photos in the 993 forum. Well worth going to take a look.

I have also heard the selection of cars was very nice. But i'm glad i didn't go because the parts meet, from what i've heard was a complete waste. I'll have to go check out the picture thread to check out some of these rare cars.

The show on Sunday was indeed awesome. The 917-30, original 917 can am car, 901 prototype, 3 gmund coupes, Lowenbrau 962, 917LH, and carrera abarth were mind blowing. Being able to walk right up to the 901 prototype, walk around it, and look closely at the motor, interior, and undercarriage was spectacular. They were all just parked in a huge row unattended. It was unreal.
