Default Finally got the brakes installed!

I had these brakes for 5 weeks and finally got them put on today. I called 2 Porsche dealers to see what they would charge labor to put them on. I had all the parts, one said 530 and the other 340.
I pulled in to a little muffler/ac/brake/shock shop in town and asked if they could do it. The guy said he "thought" he had done a couple 944's a long time ago and told me to pull it in. I was watching him the whole time and he did a great job, charged me 117 and it only took 1 1/2 hour. I am pretty sure i know how to do it now, the rear brakes are a breeze, the front are a little trickier. At first my old brakes stopped the car better but now these are good. No more brake noise

You've got one of the sharpest 951's I've seen ! Always a fan of the 16" Phonies.

Yeah that was a great price compared to what i got quoted before.
Im going to try to make it to the fest. I have alot going on this weekend, let me see what i can do and ill pm you. Are you driving down at the same time with some other Indy people? That would be pretty fun, a bunch of 944's in a line on the highway going towards OH.

Tsk Tsk Tsk number one rule of working on brakes, do not let the caliper hang by the hose. Other than that it looks great, nice job and I'll second the reccomendation on the Cup2's they look HOT!!

I know, i was having a hard time not telling him to hang it by the spring.
I don't think it damaged anything though.
Mike the thought of 3 other 944's on the highway to OH alone makes me want to come. Im going to check and see if i can make it, Ill pm you or Sam if i can.
About how far(miles or time)from indy is it?

Looks awesome, but why did you pay someone to change your rotors? Pretty straightforward job. I think you have good taste too!
