Default Venturi Delete/ New Manny installed/pics - Murcia Motorsports open for business

Did some work on the 951 today with the help of my good buddy Mike - I wouldnt know what to do without this guy - he rocks.

Today we did the venturi delete, resealed injectors/throttle body, removed cycling valve, began redoing the vac lines (need more tubing), cleaned up under the intake and spruced up the camtower a bit - swapped in the powdercoated intake manifold and deleted the cruise control line.

Here are some pictures of what gets removed from the car and a few before/after. I also recently routed the mbc into a panel below the stereo - it now shares space with my wideband.

The car is running fantastic - swapping back to dino oil from synthetic slowed my oil leak to almost nothing, got one of my wheels trued/resealed and its no longer leaking! Next is the fuel filter/fuel pump check valve and smt6 install. She is coming along...

The early 951's had this rats nest of complicated hoses under the intake, whereas the later cars did not. Its basically just a simplified system they came up with and implemented later. (88, 89?)

I'm glad to help, Sam. Having another car in the garage to toy around with is fun. We got a lot done today, but you forgot the wiper adjustment/touchup. As you see in Sam's "leftovers" pic, the number of hoses you pull out with this job is incredible. The black chrome is Niiiiiiice too. Here are the pics I have...

The intake and Kinesis wheels match now!!

Toys in the garage...

Yeah Sam, that's the new camera that didn't show in time for Tweeks. Photoshop helps, but you car is spotless compared to my bug splattered windshield.

Shizzam--that black chrome is f*ing hot! Considering the other mods this work is right on time. Nicely done. I still love that carbon fiber.
Sharkey, venturi delete saves more vacuum for the engine and less for the brakes.

Nope, no hatch swap yet. I need to get an extra set of hands to help me put it on. It's not a one man job. Might get messy if I try it.
