Hey,
does anyone know if a steering wheel from a 1987 944 turbo will fit on a 1987 944 NA? This steering wheel has the airbag. I would assume that the airbag probably wont be functional, but the steering wheel itself should fit just fine, right? Is there anything needed other than the steering wheel to do this switch?
Also, Would this same 1987 Turbo steering wheel fit on an earlier 944NA or a 1986 944 turbo?
Thanks for the help!
Matt

You may have to swap the hubs so the turn signal cancelling works..
I have a late steering wheel in the 924S (Early interior) and after the hub was swapped it works fine..

The Hub itself is a potmetal substance, (cast aluminum mayby?) 3 screws to the back of the wheel itself. The ring is on the hub and the wire for the horn feeds thru. the turn signal ring (black plastic with a tab) would have to come off of your old steering wheel..
My experience is with 3-spokes, the 4 spoke (if this is what you are intending) may be different. HTH
Non-airbag, correct?
