Default Any good mech's anywhere near Spokane, Washington

Well after quite a bit of searching on my own with no results i decided it was time to turn to the professionals. You guys. I got stationed at Fairchild AFB about two months ago and i'm still looking for a mechanic anywhere near the Spokane, WA area. I've used the search forums on rennlist, rennmech, p-caronline, and general googling and i can't seem to find any shops other than the ones in Seattle (300 miles away). I'm gonna need my belts tightened soon so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You might want to ask Rennlist member "Chris". He is in Spokane has done allot of work on his 928 himself (www.928S4.com). I am sure he could help adjust your belts.

If you can't find anyone in Spokane,

In Wenatchee we have one factory trained Porsche tech on duty. He is ok but over bills on parts and is slow on big jobs but for a belt adjustment he would be ok.

In Yakima Jason (Jason_86_951) knows a decent Porsche mechanic but I forgot the name of the shop.

There is no one in the Tri-Cities area either? That's closer isn't that? Hanford, Kennawick and Richland make up a pretty good sized area. Just a thought.

I did a search on 99352 and didn't come up with much either though.

Bunger Automotive in Yakima is the only good one that I know of.
Takes a few weeks to get an appointment, everyone around here uses him (one man shop).

Thanks for the help so far. I tried to e-mail Chris off of his website after i found out i was getting stationed here but never got a reply. The Spokane mech he mentions in his website no longer works on cars which is too bad. Jared, right now i'm just looking for a place to tension my belts since it's been just over that magic 15K since the last tensioning. I'll send you a PM here soon. If anyone has any more leads it'd be greatly appreciated but until then the search continues. Thanks in advance.

Matt
