I've heard "Testors Candy Apple Red" from Walmart.

Agreed, I like that look a lot. I found a rear 968 bumper cover and lights at Hershey for $400, but it didn't include the brace and I passed it up. I'm sorta kicking myself in the rear for that now. Although, sometimes I look at the 968 rear and think it makes the car look a little "high" in the butt when compared to a 951 rear with the underspoiler.

I costed up the parts, panel and paint a while ago and it was around 3K here. Hard to justify but would update one of the only areas on the car that still looks "old".

Will the 968 rear bumper and lights actually align with the rear fender lines?

Yep, with the use of a saw/dremel and a good bodyman.

Dude, you're a nice kid, but you crack me up sometimes. How do you expect to deal with the complexities and cost of a turbo conversion if you (by your own admission) don't have the resources to modify a taillight?

That's the funniest thing I've read today.

That car is really nice. If someone were to decide to raffle it off, and send the proceeds to charity, I would purchase a ticket.

Smoked ain't that bad - Sean (URIN2ND) did that. It looks especially bad-*** on black cars. Then again, I think it'd look decent with an all-red base (the amber panel conversion to red), with a smoke on top of it to match smoked glass on my white car. I may go that way eventually. . .

Problem with smoke is it gives the cops something to pull you over for if they want to be a-holes about it. IIRC it's illegal to reduce the amount of light transmitted from any required light on a vehicle.

God Tifo, you KILL me sometimes!

As far as reducing light - it's a state law question. In FL you just need to be able to see brake/taillights from a certain distance. Doesn't matter what you do to them as long as it can be seen from that far.
