How difficult is it to convert to manual? If it's easy I'm in for a raffle ticket...

Dan is going to be selling t-shirts for $20. I do not want this in any way to take any sales from him. That is why I said I thought the silent auction would work out better. Anyway let me know I am up for anything as long as it brings at least $500. If more than thats more beer for us to drink at Fest. Cheers....

Raffle is probably best(seems to be what the renn public wants)....with the disclosure of if 28 tickets(gives you $500 after 10% to 944fest) are not sold then all money will be refunded.

Now of course any entry into the raffle could simply be a donation to the event and if you do not want your money back, you do not have to get it. That money will then go to Dan for the event and future merchandise..etc...

That is my two cents.

Way to go Judson951 for putting up something that is obviously real valuable and a much coveted item.
Now the other two items that need to be Raffled or donated are a pair of 968 mirrors and 968 door handles(new or used-it doesn't matter

Raffle w/ silent auction contingency?
$550 min. gross either way, $500 net either way.
Maybe I'm starting to take advantage of Juson's generosity.

Hey Judson, Now that I've seen the reaction from the crowd, I'm OK with a raffle. As a matter of fact, I'm excited about it. If we REALLY want to raise some money we could sell tickets for the raffle here and now, so non-attendees would have a chance. That wouldn't be as fun as if we could just make it available to 944fest attendees and the winner would be present to claim the prize. Hmm.. I'm going to have to get seperate tickets, different from the normal door prizes.

What say you?

Also, read the small writing on the glass. Does it say "golden bronze"?

As soon as I get off from work today I will look at it. I am fine with the raffle, I just didnt want it to cut into anything this man is already doing for us. I dont care who buys tickets as long as I dont have to mess with shipping the sunroof.
All of rennlist is welcome. More tickets sold = more $ for Dan and I.

[QUOTE=Chris_924s]I like the odds.. about 50 to 1?[/QUOTE

Of course the odds vary with number of ticket solds. (duh) If we sell 30 chances, collect $600, and folks have a 1 in 30 chance of getting the top. Not too bad! Now, does Judson get 90% of the gross, or just the first $450, or what? We'll have to work on the details..

Just to let everyone know it does have a bronze tint to the sunroof. On the glass it reads bronze.
