Default MOMO Horn Button Problem (w/Porsche Logo)

I just replaced my steering wheel with a new Momo wheel and hub, but the horn won't work. I checked the connection between the steering column and the new hub and it appears to be making good contact as I bent up the metal thingy a bit. So, the only thing left I can think of is that the center button is defective. Anyone ever open the button up to work on it?? Anything else I should check? Horn worked with the old wheel...

my old momo button had two connectors I believe whereas the new porsche logo button had only one connector. I taped the other wire? to the metal ring as a ground and it has been working fine ever since...dunno if that makes any sense - Its been awhile since I did that.

Yup, I did the same as Sam on my button on a Daytona wheel...

I have a '84 and there is only one wire in the hub and the horn button only has one possible connection. I have no wire to use as a ground. What next or did I miss something?

The ground was the problem, took a close look and the button and with a little wiring of my own made the ground wire and connected it to the hub. Thanks!

Mine is 2 5/16 edge to edge on the front lip, interior of button is about 1/4in smaller.

Okay, I'll check mine when I get a chance. Thanks!
