Default Changing wiper motor

I've got everything apart, but I can't get the motor off of the assembly. It won't come off the splines. I sprayed it with PB blaster...hopefully I will have better luck with that tomorow.

I can't remove the assembly because it is hitting the bottom of the blower box. I can't see an obvious, easy way to remove it. Am I missing something?

I see a few screws through the screen, but I dont want to just go unscrewing stuff...

This is one part of the car that I've never had to venture into before.

Well, the wipers work again...with the ground disconnected.

Wonder what that ground does...going to a painted surface and what appear to be painted threads in the bolt hole....

I needed to remove the blower box to get the wiper assembly out to get the motor off.

Sounds like it started working for you. Congrats...

Right... I removed the top of the blower box, but I didn't see how to get the bottom off to get enough clearence to get the assembly out.

Yeah, it works for now...hope it stays that way.
