Default 3m Primer?

How long should you wait after applying the primer to both glass and frame before attempting to glue them together. SHould the frame be strapped together with pull alongs and what not or is it better to place it on the car after glued?

HUH?

OK... I'll take a stab. I must assume you are gluing your rear hatch frame back on? 3M Pinch Weld Primer is not something I would have thought to use, but I don't suppose it will hurt. Test some on another surface and see how long it takes to dry to the touch. Then have a go with your urethane.

I do assume correctly that you are using urethane?

Use this thread.

I've been researching this project and need to do it, but I haven't stored up the required energy to do it.
BTW, where did you purchase the 3M products?

Yea i've seen the thread. I just did mine yesterday, primed the frame and 2inch lip of the glass all the way around. Let it sit for about an hour and went ahead and glued it together with 3m window weld. A Store called auto color they basically sell paint and painting accesories. Primers is only a 4.2oz bottle. Everybody said it was like 25 bucks. I guess i was lucky this place sells it for 15 and its not a knock off. Got the window weld and the primer for $30.
