Default Bent nose panel

Yet another nose panel bent because of a runin with an SUV. From the looks of things they went over the bumper (but scratched the top pretty well) and hit the nose panel below the crest. It looks like a straight dent, maybe 4 inches from one end to the other near where the fold in the metal is. Is this panel easily repaired by a body shop?

The panel is removable, and it all depends on how good the body shop is at straightening panels. The fact that it's removable helps a lot for someone who knows what they're doing.

The flipside is that depending on local labor rates, sometimes it's better to just get a new or used panel and have it painted.

I'm taking it to a shop that's supposed to be one of the best in the area, I've seen too much bad work done and want to get it done right. From the look of it, the panel was welded to the front fenders when new but I've had it off when tightening down the crest. And just my luck, the bumper has a massive scratch running across the top that needs to be repaired as well.

I hate how SUVs go right over the bumper of regular cars, it's almost like they're aligned to cause as much damage as possible.

My girlfriend backed into my Turbo the other day with her SUV (Durango). I've got a nice dented nose panel as well. I told her she now owes me a vented one, I'll have it soon.

I got my nose panel bashed in twice in the last month. Luckily I didnt get it fixed right after the first time. Our cars had to be modified/raised in order to pass US bumper standards, why dont the SUVs?
