Default What's in your glovebox?

Right now?

In the 951 (daily beater) I have the following:

- tow eye
- owner's manual (plus stereo manual)
- small notebook to write down gas mileage & maintenance
- small "B/C" rated fire extinguisher
- one pair red tube socks (don't ask - it's a Pelican thing)
- 4-in-1 screwdriver
- mini-maglight with case & extra batteries
- little allen wrench that goes to license plate bolts (security type)

In the 944 I have just the owner's manual and another small notebook for writing down the gas mileage. Oh yea, and the latest Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. Great "stuck in traffic" material.

Owner's manual and Maintenance Records back to 1990. Lug nut key. Spare fuses. Some other minor junk.

In my 944S2, I have the following in my glove box:

- Owner's Manual
- 944S2 little spec book
- Pack of CD's (ranging from U2 to INXS, Enigma to Pink Martini, Sinead O'Conor to Paul Van Dyk, Jesus Jones to George Winston.
- My 'Bling Bling!' neon dash light thingy ('cause my dash lights are out!)

I carry my tow-hook in my armrest, secured by racer's tape. Tools are usually in the hatch, as well as oil and other essentials....

Don't you guys have the spare fuses in the fuse box lid (later cars)? That reminds me I should put a spare set for the early car in there. As well as spare DME relays - that's a good idea.

The 951 only has the owners manual, maintenance records, Haynes manual (in case of fire), and some CD cases.

The '88 has a family of Leprechauns in case the timing belt goes, they can help me push.

Owner's manual, mini-mag flashlight, and my old DME relay. I bought a new one and put the old functioning one in the glove box as per instuctions found here on the list.

And yes there are spare fuses in the fuse box lid on my car.
