Default FS: 85.5 944 NA

For sale:

1985.5 944 Na
107k miles
Ultra rare red/black color combo
Automatic tranny

Runs well, tranny shifts good (recent fluid change). Salvage Title. Damaged passenger side, interior needs work. Power windows, mirrors sunroof all work. Would make a good race car or a parts car.

If it doesn't sell, I'll part it out.

Ig you get 2K for a salvage automatic you need to buy some lottery tickets. You might as well start parting it now. Shame since it appears to be a decent car.

That lower front valence looks perfect. I'll take it if it is. Ditto on the windshield.

Whoa, that really is a clean engine bay. Clowd is selling his n/a (without any damage) for 2k and hasn't had any luck yet. But good luck selling anyways!

i've planned on parting it from the start. just wanted to see if someone wanted it whole first. i know its worth a lot more in parts that's why i have the asking price of $2000. I should be able to get that much out of it in parts. i bought this car with the intention of parting it out, but there is a nice 944S for sale that I would like to purchase and I need the cash to buy it, thus I thought I would try selling it whole first to raise the money quickly. If I don't get any bites on the complete car by this weekend, it will be parted out very quickly.

It takes a lot of labor to take the car apart. Most of the time, if I end up selling parts, I get pretty much my labor cost back by selling the part. What would you charge someone to completely dissemble a car, take 6 months of your space, the mess, and towing to dispose of the chassis? I wouldn't do it for $1000. I rather get a little more than $1000 for someone to haul it away than $2000 after all the work if all you are expecting is $2000 after selling all the parts. Depends on what your time is worth.

i have friends that do this for a living and i can dispose of the shell for free. i've also worked for them before taking cars apart. i'm well aware of what it takes and how to go about it.

i only wanted to see if anyone wanted to buy the car as a whole before i started parting it out in order to facilitate a quick sell. it is worth it to me to do this for $2000. if no one buys it, i'll see what i can get for it in parts. i'm sure i could do better than $2000, but i also don't want it to drag on forever either, i want to buy another car and i need the space.

if anyone wants parts, just post and i'll keep track. i'm sure i will end up parting it out in the end, but you never know.....

I'll take the drivers side seat belt and receiver if the receiver is not connected to the seat. "Sigh" can't use anything else though. Possibly sunroof parts but I haven't gone that far yet.

There are 2 other 'decent' cars for sale on this board with a hair more mileage, but no damage. The sellers can't move for $2000. Your car is an auto, and damaged...
