The ultimate cleaner for a tan interior is carb cleaner. It removes every stain and returns the leather to original color. Do not forget to put lexol on when you are finished.

I used the MR clean system and thinks it does a nice job. My BMW is black and my first black car. The first time I washed it I got so many water spots it was sick. I solved that problem by waxing the car.

Well then I got the mr Clean system. I have washed the car with it 3 times and it came out great two of those 3 times. There were a couple spots here and there, but overall very nice. This was with ZERO drying. Really saved my butt. Now once I did not come out so good, but that was when I washed the car in dark and really could not see anything. User Error is what I call that.

For reference my filter is now done for and I need to replace it. I got 3 BMW, 1 944, 1 ML320 wash from it before the filter is "bad". Acceptable since here in Anthem we have really hard water.

Well worth it IMHO.

If you arent using Griots Interior Cleaner to clean just about everything inside your car, you are working backwards. I buy it by the 55 gallon drum. It will cut through anything and is so mild I would use it on a stray cat.

Nice thread, suscribe. I remember that there's a forum devoted to car care, but have forgotten the url. IIRC, everyone there is rather fanatical about their buffing, etc...

i used back to black but mothers makes it, maybe its the same thing you are thinking of. i found that it takes a lot of work to get a consistant look over the whole spoiler, (some spots would be shinier etc. etc.)

I wondered about that black product by Mothers.....I'll pick up some and give it a shot....

Any recommendations on leather dye (in linen) or should I go to a local leather repair shop....
