Why do I get the feeling this is going to be one of those auctions that goes up to about $3,500 and the owner gets P.O.-ed about it because "I have over $15,000 invested in this!" and cancels the auction in the last day. . .

I've just got a feeling. . .

the car gets excellent freeway gas milage. I'd say it's over 25 gallons per mile.
Yikes! - I used to have a van that used that much, but it was oil. I think maybe he meant that the other way around.

I remember him posting here a while ago. Another "not quite finished" project. I've got a couple of those going too.

I have always been amused by the autometer replacement solution.
On a hard core track car I could see it. But the "modern" oval instrumentation works good enough. No need to reinvent the wheel.
Like he said electrical skills a must!

I don't see what's wrong with the car. Except maybe the muffler but other then that he seems like one of us.

EDIT: I guess he is one of us.

That actually is a VERY well built car and has been used for drifting I believe. Gorgeous color and in extremely good condition - I'm surprised he's selling it, but it has had a lot of hard work put into it. I really do like how that looks other than the muffler. An SFR system and it'd be awesome!

I don't see anything overly wrong with the car. I could nitpick about the dash gauges though...straighten them
And the guy staring at me.
Obviously he has spent a lot of time and skill on it.
My post was to bring attention to a unique older model with an interesting gauge cluster and someone who swapped a new dash into an older model.

I will leave it to someone else to buy.

>1988 944 Rear Trailing Arms - Full Aluminum (Same as used in 911 Porsches)

What kind of trailing arm does the 1986,87,89,90 944NA use?
