My 944 Drift Pictures from this week.
Just thought I'd share a few pictures of my car at a drift event up here in Nothern California. NASA is doing their US Drift events and this was a private event to test out their first one.

Never had a problem with my CV joints. I did have a problem with my rear wheel bearings until I converted to a later style rear trailing arm. I think that problem was mainly from the bigger wheels.

After about 2 hours of straight abuse those tires finally gave up on me. They were Khumo 712's. I then bought some used Bridgestone S03's (barely used) for $15 Each, drove down the street and had them mounted and balanced for $30. $60 for rear tires mounted and balanced, what a steal .
My car is an early car and I did a new style dashboard in it. So I did all autometer gauges. I've got a Tach, speedo, Gas and temp. Not gas pressure but actual gas.

Awesome pictures! Your car looks beautiful in action. I'm a big drifting enthusiast and it's always cool to see one of our cars keeping it slideways! Maybe one of these days I can afford to build a drift car, that would be fun! But until then, my 944 is going to spare its tires. I'm sure some people here aren't familiar with drifting as a motorsport, and might not understand its purpose as such. Keep it countersteered, Ryan!
