You have $1000 to blow on your car. What do you do?

Hmmm. Good questions.
$1000 - fix a/c on both cars and get the windows tinted so I don't fry my *** off this summer.
$500 - fix one a/c system
$300 - most of an IceShark or Xenon kit so I can see at night.

You might also consider Yoko AVS Sports -- I think they're great (if expensive).

you never have 1000 to blow on these cars. every 924/944 is a limited edition car, they are all porsches limited "moneyblowing" edition. just wait a month or two, then the car will tell you what to "blow" your money on.

How about $500?
$300?

If that is the case, it sounds to me like that money is already spoken for. Belts, rollers, waterpump, oil/filter change, trans fluid change, hoses, etc.................if you don't know when that work was done last. If all of that is done already in the appropriate past time frame, then save the money for the first failure (clutch/seals/transmission). It will happen. It is a rite of passage.

$1000?
For the 951, I would get a new dual port wastegate and a set of 55lb hr injectors (Bosch).
For the 944 NA I would prolly go with a performance exhaust and a plug, wire, cap, rotor, and MSD ignition.
