100% certain of who hit my car

Here's a couple pics so you can see the driveway. I was parked on the inclide next to and in front of my stairs, backed up as close to my stairs as I could get in the shootoff to the right (those branches gotta go!)
The incline could explain the *slight* mismatch of measurements.
Here's a couple pics of both cars at the same level.
And lastly, here's a pic of how well this guy keeps care of his Vette.

Looks like an 80/82MY vette...or at least what used to be.
Him backing up into you makes since.
It was obviously a slow impact(ie push)at an angle. Not the best shots, but with Macro cam you might be able to see any stress in the bumper(paint stress). This is really only for your assesment.
I had to size it down because I am running out of Rennspace

Don't do anything foolish that you might regret latter. The bumper fix will be really easy to take care of. I know it must be frustrating as hell, but things like this can get ugly in a hurry.
I wonder if that guy has a valid license?

Consider this however.
The corvette is fiberglass-pretty weak over all.(as his I am sure drunk into the guardrail front damage shows you)
Also consider the fact that the damage to your quarter panel is very pointed.
Which does closely match the most reinforced section of that bumpers corner apex.
Ok, done playing Columbo
Just get a bumper shock and be done with it.

I've gotten the estimate. $1300 to fix it.
I've also taken paint scrapings to a local Forensics lab which is only 10 blocks away... http://www.futureforensics.com
Yes, if needed, I will spend $10,000 to make this guy eat **** and pay for the damage.
The police came out in an official capacity today. The guy denied it right to his face, and said I'd have to take him to small claims court.
The cop ran the plates and came back with many priors.
Happily though, a new shock and bumper alingment will only cost about $250...but, I want the whole scmhear done....paint, dent, clear coat...

Good luck man...we're behind you. Fight it as far as you can. That guy deserves it in my opinion.
Then again...you can always slash his tires and play dumb...mua ha ha ha!
You know, polygraphs aren't very expensive at all. Maybe you can ask him if he'll submit to a poly test. If he does, you're in luck...it will certainly come out in the wash there. It would only cost 10 minutes of his time.
If he refuses to submit, then that's fishy in and of itself...because if he truly didn't do it, the poly would clear him and the thing would be over from his end. Either way, more to work in your favor.

My two cents. You are going to spend a lot of time, stress, money on something that is not going to remotely get you a return on your investment.
But hey, it is your time/dime.

I mean im not trying to protect the guy... but looks like his car has had its fair share of run ins.. if may be a previous hit.. but it looks like you can prove its him then its him.. and if its him.. milk him for all hes worth.. especially if hes a drunk driver.. one less person to worry about
