I like 944's because of the style and the overall feeling of a Porsche. Porsche's are some of the best engineered cars in the world. If I wanted a Jap made 944, I would get a RX-7.

Let the f*ckers hit me. I could use a new 911 Cabriolet and perhaps a house in Beverly Hills.

I have only seen one porsche on the road in my area and it was a 944 going the other way I was gonna wave at him when i realized he was flyin, I don't think he would have recognized any car at the speed he was going.

And if you're a 951 driver with any even slight mods, your car is most definately faster. So, they just see the 944's and have a nervous break down cuz there seeing a better, faster, cheaper car. And who cares anyway?
WARNING: Very generalized and opinionated

Although I would like to believe this.. It's likely untrue.

I think everyone on here is an Enthusiast.
I agree that a lot of Porsche owners (brand new in particular) are not.
They believe it's a status quo, and chick magnet.

I am probably one of the few people who would rather own a brand new 944 then a brand new 911. This is for the simple fact that the

THE 944 IS HOTTEST STYLED PORSCHE EVER BUILT
(944/951)

It has very little to do with money for me. I will buy a 944, S2, and Turbo BEFORE I will EVER buy a 911.

I would THEN get a 911 , just to say I owned one.

The 911 isn't a BAD looking car.. until you put it next to a 944 series.

I am totally unfatuated, border-line obsessive with 944 series cars. Short of a Carrera GT, I am all set with everything else.

You can take that .02 cents to the bank
or throw it in the tip jar.. or something

Tom please limit your posts to one a week. My family thinks I need therapy laughing at a computer screen.

I wave at all but the new p-cars. Al off them are the middle aged doctiors and such who don't realize its a porsche. I remember a guy in a black 951. I waved, he looked and just shot his nose up in the air! So i guess it can aplly to older cars as well. Maybe he hates p-cars that aren't force fed air?....

OK let me play devils advocate here. I like to delve into the psychology of the wave.

Do people who drive Geo Storms wave to each other. If so, why so, and if not, why not.

I saw a guy in Sams Club last week I was walking next to. I had a pair of Adidas Sambas on. So did he. I didnt say anything. He didnt say anything. We both knew it, but somehow the thrill of exchanging pleasantries because of this kinship seemed not so important at the time. Oh what could have been.

"Hey man, I notice you have on Sambas too."
"Oh sweet I saw you over there by the ornamental plants. I was hoping youd say something."
"Well I just think guys like you and me need to stick together you know. Shoes and all."
"True dat. These shoes kick ***. Im on my 40th pair. You?"
"29th. 10 1/2s baby."
"I wear 11s."
"So."
"Yeah. So."
"You come here often?"
"Im with my mom. She cant carry the heavy stuff."
"I can respect that. What do you do for a living?"
"I just got out of SuperMax for killing a couple babies with fishing line. But lets not let that come between us."
"Yeah no problem. I dont condone that, but I understand it."
"So."
Yeah. So."
"Well. Awesome shoes man. You have great taste."
"Thanks. You too."
"Umm. Can I call you sometime? Maybe go for a walk? With our shoes."
"I dunno man."
"But we both wear Sambas."
"I know man. Its just that I dont want things to go any further than this."
"Well, can I walk you to your car?"
"Uhh. I think I hear my mom calling me. We're picking up a 40-bag of Hi Pro for the Shep. I gotta roll."

Everybody's a comedian...

OK, OK...point proven. Bottom line - it's a nice gesture to say "Hey - nice car." Nothing more.

NEVER adjust your attitude to reflect UD.

I say - if you wanna wave- do so. dont expect a return, be gratifyied if a return is given.

I still wave at UD pride, but it's just to **** him off. j/k!
