Nitrous
Ok I never remeber reading anything about nitrous on the 944s, does anyone use it on here, is it safe? I have 944S2 and I don't think I want to get any but I was just wondering if anyone has it, I met a guy at the track last year that was runnning a 125 shot on a 85 944 but the engine had been rebuilt and everything.

I suppose you can implement a safe nitrous setup for the 944S2, but it's really using the wrong tool for the job. Our cars were made to handle great, not to go straight fast.
Have fun with your S2 in the twisties - it will love it!! (So will you!)

Yea, a light nos shot will certainly be fun, but you have to use it judiciously. Another consideration to avoid going much stronger than a 50 or 75-ish setup is the CVs in these cars aren't especially bulletproof. Used while underway for a nice little boost is probably fine. Used off the line for a hard launch is liable to leave you about 10 feet in front of where you started except for your back axles - which WILL be where you started.

Well, I'm going to be buying an NX Mainline nitrous kit next month. I will either jet 50 or 75, not sure yet. I am planning to use TPS activation rather than WOT or push-button.
My reasoning was kind of the same...just for a bump in long straights. Used at speed, it shouldn't really shock the drivetrain or the engine much at all.
