A/C HELP!
By all the A/C questions you sure can tell its almost summer!
Well anyways, I went out to charge it yesterday, and the low side port is on top of the compressor. There is no way in hell I can get to it, let alone get a connection hooked up to it. I loosened the belt ALL THE WAY and STILL couldnt get the connector on, not enough clearance at all. So I saw someone on here charged it through the high side, with the car off of course. So I hooked it up just to see what would happen, and opened the can and you can hear it all rushing out somewhere, and i felt around and it was all coming out of the back of the compressor. Is there a some sort of blow off valve or what? I had the low side port down there cover with a screw on cap. Wasnt coming from the hose down there, felt like some kind of port down there was letting it all out. Any advice on how to get to the low side port???

Ok, Ok! Hold the presses. I just went out and crawled under my car. The left side (pass. side) of the compressor has a Pressure valve to the high side, well the shrader valve on that is busted off. And PET shows it as detachable from the compressor and with a item number of 944 126 939 00. Well guess what, I get online and think to myself, its a valve cant be expensive... err...
Autoatlanta.net : G94412693900 pressure valve; 944 Genuine $287.62
Pelican: PRESSURE VALVE OEM-94412693900 $287.62
What the hell, its a TINY little bracket type thing that goes on the compressor!!! Err, maybe I'll just plug it with something....
