Yep, it's apparently real. I didn't take the photo, but a fellow posted pics from his day at the track. This happened to be one of 'em!

I saw a 'Vette in MI once that had the frontend and rearend of another 'Vette grafted together into a trailer. It was pretty slick. I've always thought it'd be a cool way to haul stuff.
