Default Paint advice

I've attached a picture of the 928 I'm considering buying. The body is in excellent shape, except for the passenger side door, which seems a different color. I think there is some sort of problem with the clear coat maybe. If this is indeed the issue, what needs to done to correct the problem. Will the entire door need to be stripped and repaint/clear coated, or can something simpler (less expensive) be done?

Thanks in advance.

In order to get it to match properly the whole door will probably have to be painted then blended to the front fender and rear qtr panel.

Stripping the door in not a very big job, just do that and get the door painted.

That whole door is a different color. Is the car zermat silver, or linen gray metallic, I also wonder if it was in a crash?

To me, that door is the same colour as the rear bumper? Anyone else see this?

i agree, it seems as if the rear bumper and door are one color, while the handle, rear quarter, and fender are another. A good paint shop should be able to strip it and blend it to match the current color.

I, like others, would not be so worried about the paint, but I wold be trying to figure out when and where the car was wrecked...
