Unhappy Forgot Parking Brake.... Now I need new nose panel.

Well today I was sitting in my car parked in a space on an almost level surface. I ran into a store to do something for a minute, and came out and found my car underneath a Ford Explorer. Here's the damage.
Now its an excuse to think about getting a vented nose panel. Is the AIR panel the best? I think it looks great at least. Anyone know the link to that site? Anyone have a better suggestion? I just like the look of the vented panel, but not set on it. If I do get the vented panel, I want to be able to attatch a Porsche crest to it. All suggestions or links are appreciated!!

Yikes!..but if you're going to run into something a wreck your nose panel, you couldn't have done it any better. I like the stock look but believe attaching a crest to a non factory alternative is no problem.

No. It was in neutral. I usually leave it in gear instead of the parking brake

Sorry to hear that, big bummer. FWIW, I did the same thing one day in front of my house. Thought I had left the car in gear, come out an hour later and it's GONE! I thought it was stolen until I noticed it had rolled down the street and come to rest on the neighbor's lawn, just missing the mailbox post. Happens to the best of us. In the "what's good about this column" that sure is about the cleanest "one panel" damage I have ever seen. Glad it wasn't worse.

Ouch. At least the damage was only to the nose panel. I recently bought a nose panel for my 86' 944 for 60 dollars from porsche palace (pm me if you want their contanct info).

Also there is a 924 Turbo vented nose panel for sale at the pelican boards if it will fit your car.

Happened to me too. The car was standing what I thought level in my friends garage. Well I had turned it on about to go to work after a long night of drinking (excuses, excuses) and I forgot my wallet inside. Didnd't set the parking brake, and when I come back out the car backed out of the garage, down the driveway, into the driveway across the street. Didn't hit anything, but damn ...

The 951 header panels are usually a little more expensive used compared to the 944 header panels.

The 924Turbo panel won't fit his car. While they fit the 924/944/944S well, the 951/S2 header panel is larger in the front and more curved.
