Default Pair of Sparco Speed seats for sale.... (Now on eBay)

Hey! I am selling these seats for a friend of mine. They are in excellent shape. For some reason when I use the flash on my camera, it looks like there are stains, but there is not any. I will get some better pics later, for anyone that is interested. I don't know much about the seats, other than that they are very comfortable. Here is the first store that showed up on a search I did.

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/hopup1/spspse.html

They are selling for new for $ 369 each, including shipping. We will ship these on Greyhound, and you will have to pick them up at your nearest station. I am open to offers, but I think $400 SHIPPED for the pair is good, since it will cost a little money for the box and packing material, and the shipping itself will be around $20+ per seat depending on where they are going. Oh, and FYI, most of the time with greyhound, you get them in a day or two. Again, depending on where they are going.

I have paypal, but HATE it, so check/MO is the preferred method.

If I had them!!! My friend is keeping them, sorry.

However, if you want me to get you a deal on brackets, I will talk to another friend. He will hook you up with a great price.

The seats are in Albany. If you wanted to pick them up, I guess I would do them for like $300, no cheaper than that. Also, I may be interested in trading for/towards any 951 go fast goodies you may have, or a good set of 5point camlocks.

testarossa, I am checking on the price for the sliders/brackets for our cars with him now. I will let you know.

testarossa, the sliders/brackets that allow these seats to straight bolt into our cars would be $50 each, and $17 for shipping. The total price he can do for the 2 sliders (pass and driver) SHIPPED is like $134. Let me know.

How wide are these seats? Can stock seat belts still be used when harnesses are not being used?

I do not have the specs but they are prob on sparco's website. Yes, the stock belts can be used. In your 951, the belt is actually attatched to the seat (stupid design IMO), and with the sliders and brackets, you can re-attatch it to the seat. However, I think it is best to drill and bolt it to the middle hump in the car. It will not slide back and forth with the seat, but it is much safer.

Ted, the seat belt is actually attatched to the seat bracket slider. Seams to be stronger then the hump (sheat metal) The new brackets come with the mounitng point for the factory seatbelt.

Note: you can get a really nice slider setup from Stable Energies. They have a square frame you bolt to the floor that enables you to mount the inner seat belt anchor point. They have sliders that mount to this frame. Very clean setup - easy to install - works perfectly. The sliders will mount to any seat - you may need to drill a hole into the slider - no big deal. IIRC, the cost for all the hardware (frame, sliders, misc. nuts and bolts) came to around 250.00 total for both seats.

Here's their website: www.stable-energies.com. Give Bob or Laurette a call. (973) 773-3177 and tell them you want information on the sliders/seat rails they sold to Zoltan. You will not be dissapointed.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Stable Energies in any way - just a happy customer, and they are big supporters of PCA.
