Thermal coating and have the skirts coated as well. Hopefully it'll be worth it. Everyone I've talked to has said to do it

Cory, Jeeeeez! Wanna come help?

Kevin, thanx! All the connections at the tanks and hoses are threaded. Only the joints in the copper are soldered.

iloveporsches, I hope I get mine done first!

Matt, I'll try to give you a buzz sometime today

Never realized just how damn fine of a step ladder a 944 can make!!

The setup looks really nice, can't wait to see what you do with it. See you at the Fest....

Big Red:

I believe I got them at AutoZone of some other cheap auto center. Why do they look so familiar; do you have a set?

I assume the skirt coating is an anti-friction coating. Dan Swain (Swain Technology) told me is should work fine with an aftermarket piston in a 944, but I was concerned about that (not that I could do it in ITS).

Oh how I would love to! It would be so much more interesting than the test I'm studying for tonight (pediatric neurology) :-(

Regretfully,

Looks great. Looks like serious work goes on in there actually!

It also looks like you need some more artificial illumination. We dont want you going blind.

I know! The place is so large I have a hell of a time keeping it lit. We are adding lighting as we go along. There are two boarded up windows I intend to liberate as well.

Geo: Yes, thermo coating on top, anti friction on the skirts
