Just released from Revell recently. This 944 Turbo is based off the old Testors/Fujumi mold of the 1980s and early 1990s. Better check your hobby stores near you because that's a new box, not an old model. I'm going today to pick one up if I can find it

www.revell.de shows it as one of the new models.

Lets see if it makes it to the US.

Yeah, but I'd like to be able to build some "n/a" bumpers for it. Anybody know if Revell Germany will release it hear?

Look for the Testors/Italleri 1/24th scale 944S kit on ebay. They pop up all of the time. Of course, the bumpers are the euro type, but they are close. The kit isn't perfectly correct, though, as it has the turbo motor and batwing (moulded into the chassis, both probably as a left over from the kit being modified from the 951 kit). The description on the package also states that the S has a "16Valve turbocharged" motor. Other than those few mistakes, the model is very good.

Maybe all of these 951 models coming out will drive down the price of the old kits that pop up on ebay.

I would suggest contacting revell-monogram over there. If not, I'm sure I could contact my local shop here and organise getting some over to you guys.

Tifo, no offense, but I've never liked the quality and fit of the testors kits. What I'd really like to see would be one of the Japanese companies come out with one. Revell Germany has a good reputation for kit quality and fit, so I'll most likely try to check that one out. Maybe if I could get seriously back into scale modeling I'd like to try to cast a resin bumper for the n/a. First I'll try scratchbuilding.
