Maybe if I could get seriously back into scale modeling I'd like to try to cast a resin bumper for the n/a. First I'll try scratchbuilding.
No offense taken. The testors kits aren't too bad, but I do like the Tamiya kits better, so I understand what you are saying. The molding of the Tamiya kits is superior.

My favorite kits to build are the 1/43 scale resin and metal Starter kits. There isn't much there, and you have to build a lot from scratch. But they look incredible when done right.

Let me talk to a shop in the morning and I'll get back to you.

Can we start a list of who is interested?

So far I see IBKevin

Add your name to the list, and I'll PM John D to make sure there's no probs.

Hmm, I've got just about all of the 944 iterations thus far so I have to be in for at least 1 of the Revell kits. Is this a remake of the Italeri (sp?) kit which I think was the same as the Testor's kit?

Is towerhobbies U.S. derived and thus easier to get it from? I want one or two.

BTW Tifo, I've been looking for a S model and they seldomly come up on Ebay anymore. If you see or source one please let me know.

Right guys, I'll price up 10 and 20 to start with (see what "discounts " people are offering), and try to figure out shipping (not sure of weight yet!). John D has OK'd it too. I'll get back to ya.

I've sent some e-mails off to some of the big model shops, and will be out this afternoon popping into a couple of shops. Gotta get some paints now anyway!

My local shop (Joe's Hobby Center) claims they'll be able to stock it by the end of July. Price estimate is $22.

I can probably wait three months. I still have 2 or 3 unbuilt Tamiya F1 kits, 2 or 3 unbuilt rally car kits and half a dozen others. These damn full size kits are keeping me too busy...
