I don't know about you but I'm getting tired of seeing all these "more hp" NA threads. What I'm looking for is increased throttle response from my car instead or extra hp. I'm happy on how it pulls in the upper rpms but its getting there that isn't the greatest.
I've started with
- Throttle response cam
- Sending my injectors out to be cleaned and balanced
- New throttle cable

Is there anything else that can be done? Even my little Nissan NX has better throttle response than my 944 right now and I want that to change. I think it will make the car all the more enjoyable to drive.

You can remove your 2.25" exhaust and install a 1.75" exhaust instead.

Other than that...an ignition system would help. A chip might also help.

Unfortunately, that AFM setup will only take you so far with crisp throttle response. And mods to add power typically won't add it down low.

 

The Promax chip gave me improvements in this area, I believe they sell them for 944's.
