You have to unscrew the 4 screws inside under the hood and lift header panel slightly and unscrew the 2 nuts on the back that hold the emblem down. Cleanup and install in reverse order.
There are two types of nuts holding the crest on. One is a spring nut that has to be cut off. I'd recommend removing the header panel for that one. Look here: Crest removal.

Yeah, there are different types of hold downs for the crest I've seen. My 951S had the plastic female bosses that you just stuck the two crest legs into and those held the crest in place pretty well. To remove just stick a putty knife under to protect the paint and work the crest off. Try that first.
However, the crests do come with speed nuts so if a PO has replaced the crest they may have used the nuts to really secure it. Then you need to get in back of the nose panel.
