They left the Enkei's ? That's good news at least. These guys were real schmart fellers I bet. The wheels will look great on the 84. Sorry about the tools, that must really hurt to have to start the collection all over...at least I still have your 17mm allen.

The CHP took fingerprints..the whole interior was covered in this black crap. Confused me when I first got the car.

Danno, after I swap everything I want into the 84, I'll either sell the car whole or part it. Maybe we can work something out, as it would be easiest for me to drive the car down there and chop it up at your place (I'm assuming you have the space). I will definitely keep you in mind. I'll trade the tub for a 320mm momo steering wheel with hub.

You got a deal! I'm clearing out my garage now! You can even have both spaces to park both your cars while you work on them.

It'll have to wait 'till after June though, If it doesn't sell whole until then. I need to finish this quarter well at UCD.

Probably the early car, even though I prefer the late interior much, much more.

My 86 car's clutch is on its last legs, the tranny makes lots of noise, steering needs work, leaks a quart every 500 miles, etc. The early car is pretty solid and only needs belts and possibly motor mounts.

Sorry about the damage on the car. How much are you selling the whole car for? Mechanical problems or damaged parts are not a problem as we have enough manpower and parts to rebuild that car from ground up as a spec car. Danno, I think this one can probably made into the So. Cal. spec car. It may be better to have a drivetrain in it instead of a tub even if we have to put up some cash for it.

How did they get into and start your car? I don't see any steering column damage in the pictures you have posted.

Glad you got it back, it doesn't look like it is damaged to badly. Why not just fix it?

Serge -

I parted out an 84 two years ago with that same interior; still have a lot of parts left from all over the car. Let me know if you need anything.

I would look through the recovered very carefully in case any drugs or guns were stashed in there. You wouldn't want to get busted 6 months down the line with something popping up under the seats, etc.
